1stDibs Is a Hidden Treasure Trove for Jewelry

It’s one of our favorite places to find vintage, unique and handmade jewelry.

More and more frequently, collectors are turning to online destinations to source jewelry. Several of these websites—such as 1stDibs—boast curated selections of antique and vintage jewelry, as well as unique pieces and beautiful artisan-made wares. Especially when aided by specific searches (think: your favorite jewelry designer or specific stones like opal, amber and turquoise), shops like 1stDibs offer up treasures that one may not find in their local jewelry shop.

Additionally, 1stDibs has an incredible selection of antique and vintage jewelry from designers like Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels, David Webb, and the like. Here, we’ve scoured 1stDibs to curate the six pieces we’d buy now.

A classic David Webb design, this rock crystal (a favorite material of the iconic American designer) and diamond bracelet is a modern take on a classic gold link bracelet.

Art Deco-Style Trapeze Shape Earrings

As though a sight from another era, these turquoise and onyx trapeze earrings are set with rubies and diamonds for extra sparkle. We envision them paired with a breezy caftan for a glamorous dinner with friends.

Van Cleef & Arels 1970s Chrysoprase and Diamond Bracelet

Beads of chrysoprase create mesmerizing ropes of green that layer on one’s wrists. Accents of yellow gold and diamonds set off the strands beautifully.
